Bethany Blocker: The film depicts the traditions of Eastern European orthodox Jewish weddings, those traditions are not practiced by all Jews. It may be best to chose a more specific sect of judaism: conservative, reform, orthodox, or hasidic; or even a particular region or culture: russian, Western Europe, israeli, American. All of these factors play in to which marriage traditions are recognized or practiced for each wedding.
