Wish i'd gone to a performing arts high school? Is it too late?

Donnie Bolio: You do not sound qualified to be accepted, frankly. They do not take *wannabees* - they take students who already have years of instruction, or SO MUCH incredible raw talent and the desire to LEARN music skills, that they will commit to countless hours a day of study and practice. You sound like you cannot decide what to do, and music is mildly attractive to you - and unless you have withheld critical information, about many years of serious guitar study ( including classical guitar) and many honors that you have won in music - then chances are, you will not get into a college music major program, either - if in fact that was a goal. Figure out what you want to major in, get into the best college you can - and take your guitar with you for fun. Maybe you can take some guitar study there for fun - but you are way too late to consider doing anything in the way of transferring to an arts school....Show more
