Bethany Blocker: I don't think ballroom dancing is ever used anymore at a prom, so don't expect it. My nephew's girlfriend teaches ballroom dancing and it's becoming more popular especially with couples who are married in their late 20's and 30s these days because of the TV dancing shows.

Claude Gloden: Some senior centers feature ballroom dancing, but I wouldn't expect it at a prom. Talk to some of the older girls about it. It may be an established theme at that particular prom. That needs clarification by the folks who are organizing it.If you asked your date to foxtrot with you right now, what do you think would happen?
